Product Description #1 New York Times bestselling author Johanna Lindsey's "mastery of historical romance" (Entertainment Weekly) takes center stage in her eagerly anticipated new novel of the aristocratic Malory family -- a passionate, witty, and high-spirited tale that provides startling new information about a prominent member of the family. After her mother died, vivacious Katey Tyler fled her dull Connecticut town, hoping to meet her relatives in England and find adventure and romance on a grand tour of Europe. She had no idea that her life-changing travels would have both in spades -- as well as danger and intrigue -- when she catches the eye of ship owner Boyd Anderson and inadvertently stumbles upon a high-stakes kidnapping. When Sir Anthony Malory's young daughter is abducted from London's Hyde Park, her kidnapper mistakenly sends the ransom note to the home of Sir Anthony's brother, James. With James and his wife, Georgina, in the Caribbean, the demands are received by their houseguest -- Georgina's youngest brother, Boyd Anderson. Searching for the girl with Anthony, the notoriously hot-headed American sea captain fully intends to make the foolhardy villain pay. But he hardly expects to find exquisite Katey Tyler, recently a passenger on his ship, at the center of the plot! Little does Katey realize that in having caught the attention of Boyd Anderson -- and in meeting up with the Malorys -- she's about to experience more excitement than the typical young lady encounters on a grand tour, and her life will never be dull again. A multitude of surprises await Katey, from the startling truth about her mother's early life to the lengths a man will go to win the affections of a lady who has every reason to despise him -- but who can't resist the seductive, impassioned love he has to offer her. With the delightful humor, lovable characters, and tempestuous passions that have placed Johanna Lindsey's eight previous Malory novels among the best-loved and most widely read romantic novels of our time, No Choice But Seduction sweeps readers away on an irresistible adventure that is as bold and charming as the heroine at its heart.

Boring December 12, 2008 I really like Johanna Lindsey but this book is incredibly boring. It was a real struggle and I never did finish it.
NO MORE MALORY'S November 26, 2008 I think johanna lindsey is an exceptional writer and I usually love anything she writes however, this book and its predecessor "Captive of My Desires" fell so off the mark the editor who let this crap through should be fired. Truely, she should have stopped at Jeremy's Story because I've loved every Malory story up til "Captive". Katey Tyler is Anthony Malory's long lost daughter, oh give me a bloody break. That twist was unwarranted and unnecessary. It somehow diminshed the love story of Anthony and Roslyn especially when he said he wanted to marry Katey's mother 20 years before etc....It took james to remind him of his wife and two daughters. It was utterly ridiculous. I disliked this book so much. I am disappointed in Mrs. Lindsey. Thoroughly disappointed.
Not a good book November 4, 2008 Where was the romance??? All it was was Katey running away from Boyd. Boyd lusting after Katey. And the two of them dreaming of each other. Oh and then there was Boyd kidnapping Katey to a remote beach and them having sex. I hated the sex scene where Katey took a running leap at Boyd and hit her mark right away....yeah right! Most of the story centered around the Malory clan. I seriously could not keep up with all of the characters in the story. And Boyd was definately not a leading man. She made him out to be a wimp, whereas Anthony...aka Katey's long lost father was the most attractive, athletic, rich and powerful reformed rake.
Another Malory Classic October 17, 2008 Johanna has done it again. I couldn't put it down! I have every one of her books to date and she has continually kept the interest in the Mallory clan going. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
Love Visiting With The Malorys October 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have all of Johanna Lindsey's books and particularly love her Malory series. I thoroughly enjoyed Katey and Boyd's story, especially the little twist (not giving a spoiler). I was glad to see James and Anthony and the other Malorys who showed up. It is like visiting a familiar and beloved family again and seeing what they have been up to since my last visit with them. I'm happy to add this to my other Malory collection and will be re-reading this one, as well as all the others again.
