 Good for a plane trip November 23, 2008
Great book until about the last 10 pages. The climax does not meet the tension that was built through out the book. Other than that, I'd say is a good book to read on a plane or a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I absolutely love every book that Nicholas Sparks has ever written. Although I cannot say this is his best because I love them all the same. I will be reading this book over and over!!! You can't go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks Novel.

I could not wait to read "The Lucky One". I bought it as soon as it was released. The premise of the book was an interesting idea, but the book fell flat except for the last 8 pages. I kept thinking I was missing something, but my sister read it with the same exact sentiment. My favorites are still "A Walk to Remember" "The Rescue" and "The Notebook". Not one book he has written since has come close. This book was plain boring and seemed rushed and amateurish in the writing. Nicholas Sparks has talent just not in this not so Lucky One!
