Product Description
Bride McTierney has had it with men. They're cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor.
She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur...
Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered--something no self-respecting wolf can accept...
But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win.

Pretty Good, Not the best. November 14, 2008 While this book was enjoyable, it didn't have me on the edge of my seat for most of the book and it had a few flaws. Bride was a heroine that had major self image issues, which bordered on annoying. The ending seemed a little rushed and Bride has a complete character change in the last few pages. So that's my deal with giving this book a 4. I liked Vane very much, and could see the set up of the next book in the series, Valerius and Tabitha's, which I am really looking forward. All in all, not the best in the Dark Hunter Series, but I'm one book closer to Acheron!
I wish I could read Sherrilyn Kenyon every day of the week September 12, 2008 I love Bride and Vane. He is so completely clueless about how to get on in human society and she is completley unaware that there is anything but humans around, kind of funny because she hangs around with Tabitha and her family but oh well. I think the roamnce is great and that Bride really grows as a person throughout the book. I love the whole series and have raed everything that Ms. Kenyon has written but this will always be my favorite.
Loved It September 4, 2008 I really enjoyed this book. I loved that bride was a size 18. I loved that Vane loved her just the way she was. And Bride was just a cool person. I like cool heroines.
Love the WereHunters August 8, 2008 Well, I love the werehunters so this is one of my favorite books of Sherrilyn's. The characters are intense and well thought out. Can't wait for the next one!
Another winner for Sherrilyn...Another Awesome Lead Character! July 18, 2008 Was dissappointed in the last book but was glad to see that SK stepped it up with this novel. Vane is an Awesome lead character! Sexy and Dark. Plus he likes thicker women! Not all of us are a size 2. Looking forward to reading the next!
