Product Description Boone Sinclair is a hallmark Diana Palmer hero: tall, strong and handsome. A businessman and a rancher, Boone had it allexcept for Keely Welsh. The first time he spotted her on his property, he was determined not to let her get away from him. The lovely beauty would be his.
Every Long, Tall Texan gets his woman, and this one would not be denied.

Sherry B November 20, 2008 Same old story--different names. Seems every teenage woman in Jacobsville is a virgin in love with a rugged 35+ year old brute who she somehow wins over and then tames his heart. I have been a Diana Palmer fan for many years but her last 1/2 dozen books are the same old tired story. I had to force myself to even finish this one.
Good Book! November 13, 2008 I am a returning Diana Palmer fan and I really enjoyed this book. The characters and the plot were great. I only wish Keely stood up more to Boone. But overall well worth the read.
Palmer heroine in peril November 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read this book with a straight face, and commiserated with the herione's plight. But when I gave my sisters a condensed version of the last half of the novel, we all broke out in giggles. No heroine should have that much travail! Nonetheless, I did enjoy the book. I guess I am a dedicated Diana Palmer fan.
Another Great One! October 26, 2008 Another great story! Diana Palmer's brand of romantic fiction always gives us a virtuous woman who has battled a tragic past and over come her situation. This was a great book, filled with humorus quips and tender moments. I enoyed visiting Jacobsville again and seeing some of the old characters. I really hope Ms Palmer continues to write centering around Jacobsville and the people who live there.
Heart of Stone October 21, 2008 Boone Sinclair has always been drawn to his little sister's best friend, Keely Welsh. But the age difference is something that he never lets himself forget plus he's been burned in love before. Keely can't really remember a time when she hasn't loved Boone, it almost destroyed her when he became engaged years ago and then she was devastated for him when his fiancee betrayed him. Now, danger from Keely's parent's past has targeted Keely and even though he knows he should stay away from her, Boone has to protect her. Now they are in constant contact, Keely has a chance to make Boone see that she's no longer the little girl he thinks she is.
I don't know why but I always find myself drawn to reading Diana Palmer's books. Although the author usage of words is often dated, such as the phrase "he's a dish", the downright meanness at times of her heroes and the almost too sweetness of her heroines, I find myself reading her again and again. Heart of Stone is by turns frustrating and enthralling, I couldn't put it down!
