Just Could Not Put It Down November 23, 2008 Maya just gets better and better and this book is brilliant. The characters are so vivid and believable and the situation really binds them together. I wish I was Reggie, boy would I like a Cam, Sawyer and Hutch in my life. What a diverse but desirable trio they are. Its one of those books that you would like to go on forever. Also check out Maya's Sweet Surrender and Shayla Black's Decadent and if you are in the mood for it Suzie Van Aartman's 100 Percent Erotica
Be With Me- A Joyfully Recommended Title November 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Police officer Regina Fallon has been friends with Hutch, Cam, and Sawyer since she was a young girl. Regina's parents were less than nurturing towards her but she grew up knowing she was loved by her friends and their foster mother, Birdie. Reggie loves them just as much - so much in fact that a year ago she allowed all three men to be with her and the thought of choosing between them is enough to make Reggie run. And so she has. For a year Reggie has avoided her men but not any longer. It seems a vile killer is gunning for Reggie and in order to keep her safe, her men aren't taking no for an answer. Reggie is to be protected at all costs. But what about her heart?
Sawyer Pritchard, Hutch Bishop, and Cam Douglas are brothers in everything but blood. Growing up in awful conditions and finally being sent to live with their foster mother saved their lives. It also brought them Regina Fallon. Reggie's love and unconditional friendship made their lives worth living and all three can't imagine her not being a part of their future. Knowing that Reggie will not choose between them makes what they propose a bit difficult but who said love and life was easy, right? The three men come to an agreement about Reggie, mainly that she is theirs and they love her. Now all they have to do is convince her that the decision is the right one. And between Reggie's stubbornness and a dangerous stalker out to ruin their lives, that might be a tad difficult.
Let me tell you right now. Had Reggie not come to her senses and admitted her love for these three men, I was ready to offer my services. Each hero was to die for in his own individual way. Cam Douglas was the genius of the bunch. From the top of his head to the tips of his toes, I found his wearing glasses to be endearing and his wooing of Reggie to be as gentle and nurturing as spring. Hutch Bishop, Hutch was the happy go lucky one of the three. He was the peacemaker and even though he loved his brothers, I related with his tiny feelings of possessiveness towards Reggie because he was her friend first. He overcame these feelings by being able to spend time with his girl and love her like he wanted. And boy howdy did he want. Finally, there was Sawyer Pritchard. Pure testosterone walking and dominant to boot. He was scared of hurting Reggie with his needs but once convinced she wouldn't break, his lovemaking went forth full throttle and was hot enough to make me blush. Regina Fallon. Police officer and friend to all three men. She knew in her heart of hearts that she was not able to choose between her men and she didn't try. Her acceptance of their relationship took a bit of convincing and I can't blame her. Scared at times and wanting each man to know she loved him individually would be hard to do but Reggie pulled it off beautifully.
If I could pick one thing that I loved the most about Be With Me it would be the fact that the menage relationship was not glossed over. Each man had problems accepting that they wanted Reggie and that they were willing to share. I found their questions and concerns realistic and endearing. From beginning to end I was enamored, enthralled, and enchanted by Be With Me and like all Maya Banks' releases, it is a keeper. Be With Me is an original, one that I am happy to Joyfully Recommend! It is menage heaven wrapped up in 368 pages of text!

quite possibly Maya Banks best book yet! November 18, 2008 Ever since their sexual encounter over a year ago Regina `Reggie' Fallon has been running from her best friends Hutch, Cam and Sawyer and the feelings she has for them. While she grew up with all the monetary advantages afforded a small town politician's daughter, the one thing she lacked was a loving family. She's never regretted her decision to go into law enforcement as a police officer, but a vicious attack by an unknown assailant forces her to reevaluate what she truly wants in life. Due to the extent of her injuries, she'll be a captive audience of the men she's tried so hard to avoid.
Hutch, Cam and Sawyer all come from disadvantaged backgrounds and were fortunate enough to be taken into Birdie's loving home. They didn't have much growing up but they did have each other. Once they met Reggie none could imagine his life without her. They certainly never thought they'd be willing to share the love of their lives with each other but they also realize that Reggie will never choose one of them over the others.
Hutch, Cam and Sawyer have allowed Reggie to `run' over the past year but that comes to a screeching halt when Birdie calls from Reggie's bedside at the hospital. Reggie knows that her job as a police officer involves a certain amount of risk, but even she's stunned when what should have been a routine police call results into a struggle for her life. When she wakes up in the hospital she remembers very little about the attack and she's relieved to hear that Birdie did not call her parents, but horrified to learn that she did call Hutch, Cam and Sawyer. She isn't interested in enduring their testosterone driven protective mode. Add in the sexual tension that is becoming increasingly impossible to ignore and it's a situation sure to lead to spontaneous combustion.
Once Reggie is released from the hospital and goes to the police station to give a statement she remembers that the assailant called her by name and made a statement that leads her to believe that the attack was personal. Reggie's father focuses on appearances and making statements to the press which Reggie couldn't care less about - her concern is centered on the attacker's statement. Who had he hoped to hurt by killing her?
Maya Banks has maintained her status as one of my favorite authors and with every new book of hers I read my awe of her talent continues to grow. BE WITH ME is a heart-touching story from beginning to end with many unexpected twists and turns. I loved Reggie's spunky kick-butt attitude and obvious love for her three best friends. Hutch, Cam and Sawyer present a united front in their love for Reggie. Ms. Banks tells this story in such a way that I was able to get to `know' each of the men as an individual and can easily understand why Reggie wouldn't be able to or even want to choose between them - I wouldn't have been able to either.
From the moment I picked this book up I was unable to put it down. Emotionally charged, BE WITH ME is sure to have your pulse skyrocketing as you immerse yourself in this storyline and its loveable characters. One of the things I especially love was that I had no clue as to the identity of the attacker and once it was revealed I was stunned. I believe BE WITH ME is Ms. Banks best book yet so make sure you add this one to your TBR list now.

Be With Me November 6, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
Cam Douglas, Hutch Bishop, and Sawyer Pritchard have always loved one woman - Reggie Fallon. They never thought about being with anyone else because she had full and total ownership of their hearts. Her love for them was equally consuming, but she was always afraid that she would have to decide between them at some point, and she knew she wouldn't be able to. Her greatest fear was hurting the men she loved so dearly. The night they all gave into desire, she was frightened to the bottom of her soul, and fled from her men. She ran for an entire year until the night she almost died in the line of duty.
Reggie was a proud strong police officer, and hated showing weakness, but while recuperating in the hospital, she was so grateful to have her Birdie there. Birdie raised Cam, Hutch, and Sawyer, but also Reggie in the ways that mattered most. She had a family, but they never had time, or really wanted a child. From Birdie, she received the unconditional love that every child craves. She knew from Birdie's presence that it was just a matter of time until her men came. When the trio showed up to take her home, she knew her days of running were over. They were all going to have to face the past together, if there was going to be a future. What they did not anticipate was the danger that followed Reggie to reemerge with a vengeance.
What a great new story from MB! She is already a must buy for me, but I am always surprised how she brings new elements to each offering. While the menage was anticipated, she focused a lot on the more emotional issues. We got to see the internal upheaval, compromise, insecurities, and jealousies that can occur dealing with this type of dynamic relationship. This book is full of suspense, multifaceted characters, and enough eroticism to make you melt! Definitely a must read!!
