 Worth waiting for October 6, 2008
Wow, Sherrilyn Kenyon has done it again. I could hardly put this book down long enough to cook meals and sleep. It looks long, but it could have been twice as long and I still would have longed for it not to end. Acheron is achingly good, making you love and feel for the character more than you already did. As usual, I can't wait to see the next one.

The book was awesome....the condition it arrived in however, was not. The book had grease or something similar on the inside pages. I expected the book to be shipped in excellent condition since it was supposedly a NEW book....I'm not happy with the Amazon shipping department. I most likely will not purchase anything else from Amazon.

This was by far the best of the series. It was long but so worth it. It had depth and a story line that was amazingly easy to follow. I loved the story of Acheron and it definitely brought more to the dark hunter series. I would recommend this to anyone who has or has not followed the books and likes mythological fiction and romance.
A MASTERPIECE! October 3, 2008
This is Kenyon's best ever, and I've read them all. I referred to this book as "the Precious" I could not put it down and did not want it to end! I am planning to read it again since this is the kind of complex, multi-layered story that almost needs to be reread to be truly appreciated.

I have read all the Dark Hunter series and loved them all. I saw the size of this one and thought "whoa tmi" but I absolutely could not put it down and devoured it in a weekend. Loved it! I hope there is more in the works in this line, and I am really glad to see Acheron get himself a sweetie finally.
