5 out of 5 stars Three Bullet Catchers are better than one   November 17, 2008
At long last, I've gotten some time to read the third story and conclusion to Roxanne St. Claire's most recent Bullet Catcher series trilogy, NOW YOU DIE.

This three book arc began with FIRST YOU RUN and continued with THEN YOU HIDE. NOW YOU DIE completes the set and it was well worth the long wait.

I have to say NOW YOU DIE is magnificent.

It was likely the best book Roxanne has written in the Bullet Catcher series. Perhaps I feel this way because it was Lucy Sharpe's story and we've waited so long to hear it. Or maybe because her hero, Jack Culver, is one of the sexiest characters she's ever created. He really is and Lucy deserves the best, after all.
But likely NOW YOU DIE is the best story because as with all of Roxanne's books, there are so many twists and turns I experience that certain thrust into the adventure, edge of your seat thrill ride component that is rampant in all Bullet Catcher books.
Put that with the intricately plotted story and I simply couldn't put the book down until I'd finished the last perfect word.

Great job, Roxanne. This is your best yet.

Don't just get this one book...get all three and be prepared to blow off everything else in your life until you finish reading all three books.

5 out of 5 stars Get to know the real Lucy Sharpe   November 2, 2008
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

Former cop and Bullet Catcher Jack Culver is dedicated to finding out who framed a woman falsely imprisoned for a murder she didn't commit, after reuniting her with the daughters that were adopted on the black market. He suspects that the girl's father is a Supreme Court Justice, but how far is he willing to go to keep his secret? His former boss, the shadowy and elusive former CIA agent Lucy Sharpe is in a position to help him set a trap for the shady justice. But their shared past and feelings for each other surface at the most inopportune times. Can Lucy let down her walls long enough to let Jack in?

Readers familiar with the Bullet Catcher series will relish Lucy's story, which seems to have taken forever to be revealed. Writer St. Claire has finally given readers insight into Lucy's past and the events that shaped her into the mysterious head of the elite Bullet Catchers. The passionate love-hate relationship between Jack and Lucy burns up the pages and enables readers to forgive the author for waiting so long to tell the story. But the series is definitely not over; Dan still has a story that needs to be told.

5 out of 5 stars Her Best One!!!   October 22, 2008

I am still halfway through the book but I am loving it so much I couldn't not write. I must admit that I read the first five books just hoping St Claire would get to Lucy's book. And now I can really say the wait has been more then worth it. The first four books were good, the fifth was very good, but this is excellent!!! And I really LOVE Jack. A perfect match.

5 out of 5 stars Great book, even though it's not about Dan!   October 20, 2008
I have been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this book and now that I have, it's only left me wanting more. Not only was Now You Die filled with twists and great excitement, it had romance, lust, and some really heart-wrenching moments. Lucy carried the weight of the world on her shoulders for so many years that it's great to see her finally let go of the past and live for the future with Jack.

The only thing that really made me sad was that Dan got the short end of the stick. I know that Lucy needs someone to challenge her, but what about Dan?? His presence in almost all of the Bullet Catcher books has made him so irresistible and I am saddened that he didn't get what I think many of us feel he deserved. I just hope Ms. St. Claire does him justice in the next book because he is definitely my favorite Bullet Catcher - and I wouldn't mind hearing about his good friend Max and how his family is doing either.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Bullet Catcher installment! Loved it.   October 7, 2008

I'd never been quite sure whether I liked the Bullet Catcher series even though I bought each one faithfully. They were just average reads for me but Jack and Lucy's book made me want to dig up the old books and reread each one. Now You Die is everything I could want in a romantic suspense. It sped along at a breathless speed from start to finish and St Claire was able to weave the sex, romance and suspense into a tightly-rolled skein. Simply wonderful.
