At last! I have found the book I have been looking for for two years! There are no books on Irish wedding traditions on the market, and believe me, I have searched the world over! Finally, I found Ms. Lichte's delightful, informative, and most attractive gem of a book! I have given it to so many friends as gifts as well as used it for my own wedding preparations! It is so tastefully put together, and for those Irish food buffs out there, try her recipe for Angels on Horseback! You will pack up and move to Ireland as soon as you have washed up your dishes!

A beautifully written, informative yet whimsical book full of Irish wedding traditions and the Irish lore behind them. I only wish I'd had it when my husband and I were creating our wedding ceremony... It's a lovely looking book with wonderful illustrations on linen pages. A great gift for anyone planning a wedding, or anyone simply interested in all things Irish. (I'm already married and I bought it for myself!)
