Couldn't Have Done It Without The Knot's Book April 6, 1999 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Getting married is a daunting task -- especially if your not one of those silly girls that fantasized about her wedding her whole life. We had no idea about the insanity involved in wedding planning. The Knot's book and website offered REAL advice for the bride and groom. None of that silly cookie-cutter stuff you find in most bridal magazines and wedding planners. We were inspired to create our own traditions and rituals. It was wonderful -- and we couldn't have done it without the Knot!
Too much hype March 30, 1999 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bottom line: most everything in the book you can find on their website. Don't waste your money.
The best wedding book I've read!! March 25, 1999 Wow...the most fun wedding book I've read. It's easy to read and follow. Two thumbs up!!
Save your money and don't get this one March 17, 1999 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've bought quite a few wedding books while planning my September 99 wedding and yes, I consider myself a wedding book addict. I read all the synopsis and reviews about how great this book was. I have read much better books than this. You have to be totally wedding ignorant to get much out of this book. Their website is better than the book.
Thick book, but full of air March 8, 1999 VERY DISAPPOINTED. There is so much fluff in this book and not nearly enough real information that could help me plan my non-traditional wedding. I was hoping for new ideas and contemporary concepts like all the advertising says, but there wasn't any. M. Dennan
