Great Advice! August 20, 2008 Really love reading this book. Very fun and easy to read. Gives you to the point straight forward and sounds advice. Great little tips that are easy to find with each chapter. Great for referencing during entire planning.
This is my "go to" book!! May 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got engaged on February 12th, 2008 and since then I have amassed a very large collection of wedding books, which have just left me confused and caused me to over analyze lots of unnecessary things.
I highly recommend this book in conjunction with the Knot "Complete Guide to Weddings". This book is beautiful, has bright well appointed pictures, excellent classy ideas and gives just the right amount of information. Whereas the 'Knot' book gives a great level of detail which is sometimes needed but not always.
Ladies, do not make the same mistakes I did and over do it. Sometimes too much information is a bad thing. This book is simply wonderful!!! Highly recommend.
Good Luck!!
Great resource, but smaller than I expected February 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I recently got engaged and had seen an ad for this book. I had to get it. However, when it came in, it was much smaller than I thought it would be. If you read through the whole thing, it is very helpful, but I think it could have used a lot more pictures. There are items they talk about and describe that really could have used a diagram or an extra picture to help get the message across.
I bought this with a few other books and I think the Knot's Complete Guide to Weddings in the Real World is a little more complete. However, if you know you're never going to get through a giant book of information, this is probably the right book for you.
