emily posts wedding etiquette December 7, 2007 for a first time bride, theres a lot of good info in here. But i really dont have any others to comapre it to. I am getting alot of use out of mine though. I made copies of certain chapters for people and will use some of the suggestions.
Same Advice as Post's other Wedding Books. November 6, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is great if it is the only Emily Post Etiquette Book you are going to buy. You'll get a wealth of information presented in a clear format.
Problem is, I have Emily Post's Wedding Planner and feel like I just wasted twenty dollars on the same advice. I'd chose Emily Post's Wedding Planner over this book. There is basically the same etiquette information (although this does go into a little more detail) but the wedding planner has much more for the price.
One of the better wedding books for general questions September 23, 2007 This was one of the better basic books, for a few questions you can't find the answer to - writing letters, listing on invitation, etc.

I am a traditionalist but found no help from this book - there were so many options that there were no 'real etiquette' answers

Emily Post is known as the expert on wedding etiquette, so naturally that's what I ordered for a friend. The book was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition.
