Product Description Into a sea of pearl white and pale blue comes the hot pink and orange Anti-Bride Guide. The perfect book for anyone alienated by the high-brow wedding industry, this practical guide fills a huge gap in the wedding planner market. A riot to read and filled with sassy illustrations, each chapter offers up fabulous advice and unusual ideas for those brides looking for more than the standard fare. Hundreds of fantastic tips give great insider advice on how to deal with any and all wedding eventualities (lipstick stain on dress, caterer from hell, wedding day breakout). A handy planner and resource guide keeps the bride on track, and tabbed chapters have pockets for stuffing brochures and clippings. For the bride who wants her wedding her way, this is the ultimate guide.

Very comforting. May 11, 2008 I think this book is extremely helpful to those who want to mark the occasion of their wedding with love and celebration, but don't want to be one of those chicks that obsesses over nit-picky matchy details. It was very reassuring to me, and made me feel like it was okay to not want to wear a white dress and buck tradition in other ways. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves their fiance, but starts to panic at the enormity of the task ahead of them.
Talks a big game, but typical wedding book March 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The idea of this book is great, the execution is not. This book is a pretty typical wedding planning book, with a few nontraditional ideas here and there. What I wanted from this book are real tips for people who have not been obsessed with their wedding since elementary school, but it did not deliver. In my opinion, anti-brides do not register at Tiffany's and do not wear couture bridal gowns. I'll stick with Bridal Bargains which is a great book for those who are not obsessed.
don't bother February 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i bought this book and am returning it. a waste of money. nothing helpful or with original ideas. i am a younge hip creative person and i found this book to be useless. the few "non" traditional ideas the book gave any person with half a brain can think up on their own. i am having an untraditional wedding and i really got nothing from this book. dont waste your money!

This is THE book I have been looking for! It has given me ideas that I would never have contemplated!
Not Unique in the Least April 1, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was hoping for suggestions and ideas about how to have an anti-wedding, but this book only has ideas for traditional weddings, complete with the big white poofy dress. I read it all the way through, hoping for it to eventually reveal the "anti" part of it, but it never did. Furthermore, it had several typos and most of the resources in the appendix were outdated and useless.
