If you are looking for a lush coffee table book, be prepared to deal with less than perfect printing. Many of the images are muddy and or grainy. Definately flip through it at the store, but don't make it your one and only.

Town & Country has a GREAT website (though I'm not sure if it's affiliated with this book), but this book is lacking in all respects. The ideas, photography, etc. are barely average, although the price surpasses it's worth. Save your money and find the Town & Country website.

There are only two or three photographs of creative weddings in this book. The rest are grand and tacky and not at all special. The text is well written and offers a real, but shallow perspective of the stresses and family issues that will arise.
Elegant weddings April 28, 2001 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was very disappointed in the decor of the weddings in this book. I find them all the same ,flowers not artistically put together, just all looking like stiff round balls of flowers, each wedding looked like the next exceot for colour difference. Sometimes before one purchases a book one needs to see inside the book in more than one page, how can one buy a book blindly? It is such a risk, and I got caught, this time.
High end wedding ideas January 6, 2001 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is a beautiful book that outlines and shows photographs of recent high society weddings. The sites are extremely elegant and exclusive. The book showcases what can be done by creative wedding planners who probably have no budget! Gorgeous flowers, cakes, dresses, jewelry, hairstyles, etc. for the bride and groom who want to make a major statement. This book covers it all from wedding invitations to flower girls. If you want to have an extraordinary day and money isn't an object, this book has some wonderful ideas and resources.
