This is a great journal, especially for beginners. A great way to learn about wine tasting and keeping track of wines you have tasted!

I bought 2 of them since, I wasn't sure which one was better. Although I liked both, this one was the best.
Handy little book! January 14, 2008
This is a great little book for keeping track of wines you really love (or don't, for that matter) in one place. The elastic band you can slip over to keep the book closed when travelling is a nice touch. Makes a great gift! I gave two of them as gifts at Christmas and they were very well received.
Great for Wine Lovers November 16, 2007
Great little book to carry around for Wine Lovers who would like to have bottles of their favorite wines at home with they have experienced them at their favorite restaurant. I never remembered names of wines now I just write down in my journal. There is a rating system. I love this book and is a great gift for co-workers and friends.

Being a newbie to wine, I find this book very helpful in helping me record my thoughts about the wine that I have been tasting and enjoying.
I like the little introductory at the beginning that explains the main elements of the wine (like nose, taste, etc.) and give you helpful hints in describing them, without sounding like an idiot.
I am enjoying this book, and have been reccomending it to all of my friends.
