Very cute ideas! December 31, 2008 This is a very fun and cute book. I think it provides many great ideas that can get you started on making your own cards. I've changed some of the designs and even created some of my own designs to match the occassion it's for. Very cute and love how they provide the templates!
Great gift or fun project guide! December 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've loved Hello Lucky's cards for a long time, so when this book came out I was excited to steal some of their ideas to pass off as my own! It didn't disappoint. Even the book itself is a treat -- the binding is really easy to manage, and the templates in back are really helpful. I consider myself very low-level crafty skills-wise, but the descriptions and how-to really describes everything very clearly. This is a great gift for crafty friends, or a fun way to pass the afternoon and make unique and special invitations or cards on the cheap!
cute...easy to do December 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
very cute ideas and step by step instructions. templates are included...but I took off one star because it did not include the template for the owl card--the project I loved the nost. the instructions say to follow the owl template...but I searched and searched and could not find it. I even went as far as to exchange it for a new book--still no owl template. so sad. very cute and inspiring though.
perfect! December 3, 2008 I've been making cards for 8 years and this book is so adorable and amazing! love it!
Step by Step to the Perfect Card October 31, 2008 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is great for ideas on handmaking cards. I love the idea of something so simple handmade, but the authors have a step by step guide to how to make all kinds of cards. The templates are even included! It has all the sketchings, diagrams, and measurements for the perfect card. The best part about it is, when you have your card, you can't believe you actually made something so beautiful!! I give it four stars only because it take time to do the cards, and frankly, I am lazy.
