Product Description My goal is to someday be the person my dog thinks I am. --Anonymous Bestselling author Dean Koontz says that his dog, Trixie, changed his life and made him a better, happier person. A 68-pound dog who lived close to the ground, Trixie certainly did cast a long shadow. She first became known outside of her own house (dog-house, that is) as a guest blogger on Dean's website, signing off every entry Life is Good, Bliss to You. Now, in this warm and funny book--as told to Dean Koontz--Trixie once again shares her inspiring outlook on life and reveals the eight steps that anyone can take to achieve not merely happiness, but bliss. Packed with dog wisdom, both poignant and funny, this charming and heartfelt book gives the reader much food for thought--which might not be as tasty as a bowl of kibble but is nonetheless nourishing. Bliss to You!

Awesome Book January 6, 2009 Anyone and everyone who loves dogs should read or listen to this book. I gave 5 for Christmas - and everyone loved it. We listened to the audio and wondered if it would be as good to read - but they said it is!
Total deviation from the books that Dean Koontz normally writes. Loved it!
Wonderful Book for All Ages December 28, 2008 This is a wonderful, uplifting book. If you are a dog lover, it will mean even more to you as you hear Trixie giving her advice and describing her life. The book is filled with humor, as well as good advice. I have listened to it at least 20 times, and I hear something new every time. If you are considering buying it, please do. It's a winner!
Brings a smile to your face December 22, 2008 I truly enjoyed this book. I had a golden retreiver who was trained as a service dog for my husband with MS. My dog recently died and I'm sure that he and Trixie are friends.
This is Lame. December 20, 2008 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have not read any of the other Trixie books, nor will I. This tiny book, has very few words. Most of the pages have less than 50 words, and many fewer than 20 words. (lots of blank white space on each page.) The grammar is horrible. Flipping through the book, I did not find anything funny or enlightening. How this book could "change your life" (as one reviewer indicated) is beyond me. I wish Amazon would have let me read a few pages of this "book" before buying it.
Entire Page 66: Eat grass, throw up. Doesn't sound like fun, but is.
Entire Page 67: Love and sausage are alike. Can never have enough of either.
I feel I was ripped-off and I am going to return this garbage.
Another hit December 20, 2008 Another hit by Koontz, This is an enjoyable book written from a dogs perspective that may give more insight to important things we may already know or should know about life and how to live it.
