This book is okay if you only want to write about the wedding itself. There is nothing that allows space for dating, the proposal, any of the stuff that leads up to the wedding. The pictures are pretty, but I wasn't looking for pictures. I was more interested in writing room and the content of what I could write. The pages give more of an "old" feel. They are brown, and the writing is done in calligraphy, I think. I bought the book, then returned it. It is just not a very good resource to journal all of your dating and wedding memories.

We received this book as an engagement gift from friends. It offers the bride and groom a nice way to record wedding memories, including spaces to write how the engagement happened, paste pictures of special people and events surrounding the wedding, and paste mementos like the invitation, newspaper announcements, a saved napkin or other memento, and a press of wedding flowers. Two things I would change about it if I could: on some pages are printed the text 'put photo here'. The problem is, you have to arrange your photo just right to cover up the words. In some cases I wanted to include two photos and the words would be right in between the two photos. I could have figured out on my own to put a photo on those pages without needing the instructions printed there for me. Also, I included mementos like the groom's boutoinnere, some brochures from the honeymoon, etc. but the book won't close now. It would have been better to bind it with wire, rather than to bind it like a traditional book. It's more like a scrapbook. Still, it's lovely and I would recommend it.

This wedding memories book was very tastefully done. I'd recommend it way above the gaudy ones sold in Wedding Catalogs. The paper is beautiful and the images are gorgeous.
