| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Jeffrey Fisher's richly painted illustrations have a hand-hewn quality that adds charm to the endearing quotes gathered here on the art of corresponding, calling, and otherwise communicating. "You deserve a longer letter than this," says Jane Austen, "but it is my unhappy fate seldom to treat people so well as they deserve." "Well, if I called the wrong number," asks James Thurber, "why did you answer the phone?" This is a pretty address book, with ample space allotted for phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses. --Jane Steinberg
Product Description From Jane Austen to Voltaire, Anne Lamott to Dorothy Parker, A Literary Address Book celebrates some of the world s most beloved authors and their thoughts on friendship, correspondence, and writing. The definitive address book for anyone with a love for great writers.

Great Buy!! January 6, 2009 I bought this address book for myself a couple of yrs. ago & love it! Hard cover with a binding so that book can lay flat to write in. Also more than enough space inside to write numbetrs & addresses down. Love it so much that I bought it for my mom for Christmas this past yr.! More than worth the money!!
Great little address book! November 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had seen this address book in a book store and wanted it but did not buy it. When I saw it on Amazon, I ordered it and I love it. It is spiral bound, so you can open it flat and you don't have to hold it while you are trying to copy an address from it. And it's very cute!
Wonderful!! June 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my mom since she hadn't updated her address book for probably 30 years. Her eyes are not the best and this book is nice and big. It's small enough that it can fit into a purse but big enough to be quickly found. It's hard cover with a nice covering over the binding. Easy to open and close, nice sturdy pages to write on. My sisters and I all wrote out addresses in the book along with our kids' names and birthdates in for our mom to make it special in our own handwriting and there was plenty of room. The only thing I don't like about address books is that there aren't extra pages in the back for things such as anniversaries or birthdays. It would be so nice to have everything in one handy book!
ADDRESS BOOK January 2, 2008 Looking for an unusual, but very user friendly address book? This is the one. I really enjoyed reading the little literary touches throughout. Good price. Fast shipment. Will buy again.
I don't love it! June 17, 2007 Whew, guess I'm the odd "man" out here.......I'm disappointed in this address book. I find it awfully clunky. Yes, it's a spiral, but it doesn't easily lie flat. I guess I'll use it, too much of a hassle to return it, but there are a couple of others on Amazon that I wish I would've purchased instead.
