Product Description
Throw out everything you think you know about history. Close the approved textbooks, turn off the corporate mass media, and whatever you do, don't believe anything you hear from the government—The Rise of the Fourth Reich reveals the truth about American power. In this explosive new book, the legendary Jim Marrs, author of the underground bestseller Rule by Secrecy, reveals the frighteningly real possibility that today the United States is becoming the Fourth Reich, the continuation of an ideology thought to have been vanquished more than a half century ago. This concept may seem absurd to those who cannot see past the rose-colored spin, hype, and disinformation poured out daily by the media conglomerates—most of which are owned by the very same families and corporations who supported the Nazis before World War II. But as Marrs precisely explains, National Socialism never died, but rather its hideous philosophy is alive and active in modern America. Unfortunately, most people cannot understand the shadowy links between fascism and corporate power, the military, and our elected leaders. While the United States helped defeat the Germans in World War II, we failed to defeat the Nazis. At the end of the war, ranking Nazis, along with their young and fanatical proteges, used the loot of Europe to create corporate front companies in many countries, including the United States of America. Utilizing their stolen wealth, men with Nazi backgrounds and mentalities wormed their way into corporate America, slowly buying up and consolidating companies into giant multinational conglomerates. Many thousands of other Nazis came to the United States under classified programs such as Project Paperclip. They brought with them miraculous weapon technology that helped win the space race but they also brought their insidious Nazi philosophy within our borders. This ideology based on the authoritarian premise that the end justifies the means—including unprovoked wars of aggression and curtailment of individual liberties—has gained an iron hold in the "land of the free and the home of the brave." For the first time Jim Marrs has gathered compelling evidence that an effort has been underway for the past sixty years to bring a form of National Socialism to modern America, creating in essence a modern empire—or "Fourth Reich"!

Up from the Ashes December 3, 2008 Nazism didn't die at the end of WW II. In fact many escaped allied forces and set up shop in South America and elsewhere. Wealthy and idealistic, Nazis regrouped and often allied themselves with their enemies. Jim Marrs documents the whole business in "The Rise of the Fourth Reich". Read about Nazi scientist brought to the US through Project Paperclip and how NASA and the space race were initiated. The book covers eugenics, mind control, propaganda, education, religion and the Nazi who's who in regard to the Kennedy assasination. Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller and Prescott Bush were just a few businessmen who financed the Nazis. The point is that Nazi ideology was accepted and supported before, during and after the war. The fascist notions of National Socialism or corporatism are alive and well in the USA which has become the greatest Empire of all time. Our current policies of illegal invasions, war and occupation, torture, spying on our own citizens and the loss of civil liberties through the Patriot Act are exactly the same measures the Nazis took. Jim Marrs is the master of hidden history and conspiracy.
Very insightfull information, and a lot of it. December 3, 2008 This book incredibly lays out events preceding and following WWII and gives in depth explanations for the causes and affects of our current government. It can be hard to follow sometimes due to all the names mentioned and their inter-relations. I think I will have to read it twice to go back and pick up all the information I missed the first time around.
The Rise of the Fourth Reich November 25, 2008 Enlightening, eye opening and important for all Americans to read. Everyone needs to open their minds and atleast be willing to listen to a version of the truth you will not hear on the mind-controlling mass media. Then make up your own mind!
Things we wish we didn't believe November 22, 2008 Follow the money. Jim Marrs uses this tried and true method of journalism to disect the relationship between corporate America and our federal government. While focusing on the NAZI(National Socialism) ties that are wrapped into our everyday lives, the most disturbing point this book makes to me is the ultimate control of everthing we consider personal freedoms by very small groups and individuals, NAZI or not.
We have all seen the degridation of our education, healthcare, labor, and moral systems in a post WWII America. This book does a phenominal job of answering the root question in most American minds; Why? The answer very simply is power and the ultimate measurable by-product, wealth. Mr. Marrs goes into great depth describing and explaining the personal, political and financial ties among the worlds elite through the course of modern history in a way that should disturb any reader.
The book does an excellent job, in my opinion, of providing strong arguments that ultimately lead the reader to the question, "If this isn't true, what else could it be?".
Very disturbing and informative. The wonderful outcome of this work is, whether you believe all the scenarios put forth or not, the reader will definately come away with some form of; "I knew it!"
Absolutely true or a giant lie? November 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You cannot say if this is absolute true, or a giant lie.
In any case, the world would be a better place should everyone read it. Still, if you decide to do so, it will change your life.
