Excellent Survival Information November 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book provides great instruction on surviving crisis situations. It is not a "gear" book and does not attempt to sell products like some books. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be able to provide life saving action for themselves or their family.
Fantastic survival book October 31, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
You know the saying when you stop looking for something you then find what you are looking for. I purchased this book with the mangnesium firestarter. I thought what the heck another surival book but at least i get a deal on the firestarter. After i opened this book i quickly forgot all about the firestarter. I was amazed at the greatness of this book. I can't say enough here about it you have to see it to believe it. I own about a dozen survival book and this is the best of the best. Actuall colored photos on edible and not edible plant, color photos on posinious snakes as well. The section on traps and shelters is top notch. Knot tying is also a great section. This book has rekindled my desire to grab my knife and go test myself in the wilds. simply superb
