3 weeks ago my son asked me to find a song for the Mother/Groom dance for their upcoming wedding. I googled mother/son dance songs and a bunch of different songs popped up. I needed the words to be right and say what I am feeling as he is getting married. I knew when I read the lyrics this was it!!Short, sweet, simple and very sincere. The country version,to me, is the best. I have two other sons and this will be the song for them too. My son's wedding was two days ago, and my husband had been tear-free at the wedding until this song/dance. Aunts, cousins, friends kept asking where did I find this song!! It was perfect.

Wow! This song is by far the worst wedding song I have ever heard. It is so sappy it makes me cringe. I'm not saying she has a bad voice, or the lyrics are bad...but it sounds like some kids CD from the 80's. My fiance loves Slipknot. I think he would rather dance to Pulse of the Maggots than this crud.

I asked the DJ to play this song at my son's wedding. It wasn't the one we danced too first; he picked You Look Wonderful Tonight. We did get a second dance and the DJ announced that this song was to my son from me. It was wonderful! Thanks for having it.

This is the perfect song for my son Andrew up comming wedding @ 3:45 6-7-08...get it? 345678! I cried the first time I herd it and have shared the song with close family and friends, they are all ready asking to borrow the CD! Great choice for any mom to dance to. I personally like the original version of the song the country version on track #2 was a little to twangy for me. To all mom's, this is perfect.
